I made it back to home soil alive and it feels good to be here. Perhaps it was a mistake taking that nap in the car on the way home from the airport because now I'm thoroughly 'lagged and wide awake at 4:00AM. There's plenty to do, though, I have all of my pictures to process and a few backdated entries to post. And, of course, there is that matter of researching where to find the best burrito in Hemet.

welcome back! glad to hear you've arrived in one piece.
by far the best BREAKFAST burrito in Hemet is at the taqueria located inside that Circle K plaza (where we used to play Mr. Do at that slummy arcade). check out their ham/bacon/potato burrito.
if you're looking for a good shredded beef taco, my favorite is The Taco Shop (Stetson & State in Stater Bros. plaza); for authentic tacos, try the place in the Arby's plaza.

Thanks for the head's up! I will definitely go out and confirm your recommendations. BTW, supposed to be 103 (about 40C for the EuroFolk) degrees here today; ugh.

Man, I missed the last couple weeks due to being on vacation...
Is this post out of date? Whatever.
Welcome home, Travis!
