I've been considering giving up the cruise ship idea. I think I need to do a little more research and find out if I'd be allowed to get off the boat at any of the ports. It seems to be a great idea in theory, but it's probably a bit frustrating to spend six months sailing to amazing places but not be able to actually visit any of the destinations. Given that I've saved up enough money to live comfortably while unemployed for a year, I'm now thinking that I might take the time that I would have been on the boat and use it to live in more locations.

Eh, I've got a couple months to figure it all out…
